Campus Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Human Resources team as a Campus Administrator. Our graduate talent is fundamental to the success of our businesses. Campus recruiting focuses on early identification of candidates in their academic career through internships/work placements and graduate opportunities post-university. We have an exceptional opportunity for an undergraduate student to work within our Campus Recruiting team and to help support all campus activities and engagements at the firm.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administration support to the firms graduate milkround campaign
  • Event support of targeted grad activities e.g. virtual open days, campus events, presentations
  • Serve as a contact point for candidates, educational institutions and the service lines on campus recruiting matters
  • Serve as a “Brand Ambassador” to expand the Grant Thornton brand
  • Be proactive and support all reporting and metric requests
  • Schedule and coordinate candidates for interview across the firm as requested by the Campus Recruitment Consultants
  • Update and manage data on Applicant Tracking System
  • Coordinate the on boarding of new campus hires
  • Creation and maintenance of soft copy employee files
  • Process campus recruitment related invoices and liaise with Finance department to ensure timely payment
  • Draft and issue new hire contracts of employment;
  • Travel to regional offices and campuses may be required, particularly during peak recruiting times
  • Support the wider HR team with key HR projects and other ad hoc duties as required.
Skills and attributes:
  • Third level qualification, preferably in HR or other related discipline desired but no essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic working environment
  • Excellent administration skills with strong working knowledge of MS Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • High levels of professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise
