Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Cardiology Services, is responsible and accountable for coordination of specific procedures within Cardiac Services at all CHHD sites including Harvey, Calumet City, Flossmoor and Tinley Park. Performs stress test with and without thallium, stress echo, regular stress test, holter application and scanning, event monitor application, ekg tracings as well as, related clerical duties.

Demonstrates necessary skills and knowledge to provide services for the patients according to the unit specific competencies as appropriate to the age of the patients served as delineated in the Scope of Care.

Knows follows and actively support the philosophy, mission and Vision of Ingalls Hospital. Adheres to all hospital policies, procedures and standards of care. Observes and adheres to all corporate compliance requirements and communicate issues as they arise to the appropriate parties as identified in the Corporate Compliance Plan.

  Two years of experience
• Education from an accredited school with certificate in cardiology technology
• Able to scan holters, ekg skills with the ability to familiar with ekg abnormalities, perform stress testing, event monitors
• BLS card
