Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23-25/hour + $1,000 sign on bonus!

As Case Manager, you’ll have a dynamic and critical role providing day to day support for the residents in our Recovery Services Residential program ensuring a safe and secure therapeutic environment. As Case Manager you'll run groups and provide individual case management to residents with substance use, mental health, and/ or co-occurring disorders.

Case Manager Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate a safe and supportive environment for residents.
  • Perform weekly case management sessions for up to 9 residents.
  • Develop and provide individualized action plans for each resident to help them reach their goals to achieve independence.
  • Help clients identify appropriate providers and programs and assist with eligibility, applications, and appointments.
  • Provide resources and coordinate services with other VOAMASS programs and outside agencies.
  • Create and facilitate groups with residents in the areas of personal responsibility, social skills, and community living skills and behavior.
  • Complete documentation in Care Logic such as progress notes, resident treatment plans, and other paperwork and ensure all documentation meets the requirements of our regulators.
  • Share information with other staff about assigned residents’ progress as appropriate.
  • Attend staff meetings (group supervision) and participate in individual supervision.
  • Monitor medications and Medication Log and ensure all medications policies, including distribution and destruction are followed.


The Case Manager is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. The Case Manager will bring the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and a minimum of two years’ experience in mental health, substance use treatment, and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • CADC may be substituted in place of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills required.
  • Knowledge of milieu therapy in residential settings; substance use modalities, harm reduction approaches, trauma informed care, whole person health approaches, dual diagnosis, and commitment to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable.
  • Computer proficiency in electronic health records and MS Word and Outlook.


Case Manager Hours:
Full-Time – Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday
