Cash Applications SpecialistRecycling Open to public competition Our BNM Recycling Business Unit currently has a need for an Cash Applications Specialist for a full-time permanent contract. This role involves working in the Cash Applications Team and primarily responsible for processing and allocating all payment types across our Commercial & Domestic Customer base.Role Specifics:Job Title: Cash Applications SpecialistBusiness Unit: RecyclingReporting to: Commercial Credit Control & Cash Apps Team LeaderLocation: NewbridgeDuration: CIPHR Contact: Carol YoungApply on or before: November 30th 2022Eligibility: Open to public The Role:The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:· Processing, reconciling, and allocating all payments received from our Domestic and Commercial Customers. Liaising with customers to resolve any remittance or payment allocation queries. Ensuring all payments are processed and completed for month end closing.· Working with the Bank Reconciliation team to regularly review any Bank Reconciliations queries and to resolve in a timely manner.· Provide reporting on status of unallocated payments and ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner. Working with Credit Control teams to resolve any payment related items.· Working closely with Customer Services team in relation to customer queries received relating to payments and processing refunds if required.· Support the wider team with any process initiatives projects and actively participate in any IT Upgrade projects as they arise.· Establish and maintain excellent business relationships at the appropriate levels with customers and internal staff. Liaise with all departments to ensure customer service is kept to a high standard.· Assist other departments on an ad hoc basis as required· All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises· Proactively participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team’s, objectives.The Person:The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge, and attributes.· Minimum 1-2 years in a similar role· Experience within Waste/Supply Chain/Transport advantage.· Good working knowledge with Microsoft Excel e.g. using Pivot Tables to consolidate large data sets.· Experience using large CRM Tools, Software systems, Banking Online and general IT Systems.· Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
