CASHIER

MUST TAKE SKILL TESTS FOR CONSIDERATION

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-The cashier is responsible for greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner, offering assistance, direct customer to our floor-sales-clerks and thanking as they leave the store.
- Answers the phone and direct calls as necessary.
- Answers customer’s questions and provide information on procedures and policies.
- Operates the POS to ensure accurate and efficient sales, price and inventory (will train).
- Process merchandise returns and exchanges.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, gift cards and debits.
- Resolves customer complaints.
- Monitor checkout stations to ensure they have adequate cash available.
- Offer customers carry-out service if needed.
- Maintain counters and showcases neat and clean condition at all times. -Clean key machine everyday including cash register area .- Open and closed store. - Re-stock keys and cut keys.. - Refill refrigerator with soft drinks, water including chips and sweets. -Other tasks and responsibilities as may be assigned by store manager/supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Retail and cashier experience necessary is a MUST. 2 PLUS YEARS EXPERIENCE.
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Computer and keyboard experience
- Friendly and polite
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have good organization skills and attention to detail
- Must have good communication skills
- The ability to work independently
- Team player and The ability to utilize time efficiently to complete daily shift tasks
