Due to planned expansion in 2023, we at Rocksalt are delighted to be seeking a Catering Chef Manager to join our team.

RockSalt Café began in August 2018, following months of planning & construction on what was the famous Danny Hughes Seaside Shop in Blackrock. Rocksalt aims to offer our customers the high values of customer care, service and attention to detail with unique foodie twists. We strive to create a fantastic atmosphere, food and service culture with all the key elements of a 5-star hotel or restaurant but in a more casual and welcoming environment for both customers and teams. In February 2020 Rocksalt opened its second location on Dundalk’s Earl Street, while also building an outside catering element to the business throughout 2021.

Our Catering Team & Department is expanding and we need the right candidate to help us grow & take us to the next level!

This person will have full responsibility for managing their kitchen while also leading and building a successful team.

The ideal candidate would have -

• At least 5 years of Kitchen Management experience in a high paced environment
• Strong business, organisational and operational experience
• A passion for food and culinary creativity
• A proven track record of building and leading a successful team
• Ability to implement and maintain company standards
• Full working knowledge of HACCP
• Ability to promote an excellent working environment
• Be a strong communicator, approachable and have excellent people skills
• Ability to work under pressure and be a hands-on natural leader
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasts and KPI’s

Salary: €29,005.55-€45,000.00 per year
