Selectively hiring for Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), PRN/1099. We are an elite home health therapy team. We are not looking for just employees, we are looking for autonomous individuals to contract with to provide compassionate therapy services. You are your own boss. Potential for more visits depending on travel radius specifically Brandon to Sun City.

Job Description– Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for the treatment of patients following a plan of care. Treatment will focus on upper extremity exercises, ADL’s, transfers, and patient/family education.

Provides appropriate and thorough teaching to patients and their caregivers.

Must have device that can connect with company software in order to do reports and view care plans. Having your own Android tablet is mandatory.

Participates in staff and administrative meetings.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently licensed by the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida.
  • Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
  • Must pass AHCA background check
  • Current in-person CPR certification required
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting patients and /or equipment.
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
  • Efficient documentation
  • Willingness to learn
  • Adaptable

Experience:

  • Occupational Therapy Assistant: 1 year
  • Home Health: 1 year
