Choice People are recruiting on behalf of their client for a Chef de Partie to join the team.

The property consist of a Bar, Restaurant serving Bistro style food and a Night club.

The Restaurant is popular with local and passing trade. Over the years the team has achieved to get a name for good food and great service. This is an opportunity for a chef who would like to grow and develop.

Locations: Co. Cavan

Salary: 30-35K

Hours: Full time, 5 days over 7

Accommodation can be provided

Candidates must have legal status to live and work in The Republic of Ireland

Requirements:

In your role you be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high quality food.

Be passionate about preparing and serving quality food.

Main Duties to include:

• Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely and hygienic fashion to the appropriate agreed standard
• Follow the agreed recipes and food hygiene standards
• Avoid waste and spoilage when preparing and /or cooking food
• Operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognised techniques
• Operate machines and cooking equipment in a reasonable manner
• Understand the provisions and maintenance of the kitchen service
• Work as part of a busy kitchen and front of house team
• Working as a team member with other chefs and owner in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
• Keeping calm under pressure
• Attention to detail and organisational skills

The Successful candidates will preferably have:

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar position
• Have the ability to work well in a busy environment
• Have a passion for quality and presentation for high quality food
• Be HACCP trained and demonstrate excellent hygiene practice
• Have a professional appearance and work attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

• Cavan, County Cavan: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Professional Kitchen: 2 years (preferred)
