A highly-regarded community health center located in El Paso, TX, is seeking an experienced Chief Dental Officer to lead their dedicated team. Come join us and make a difference in the lives of those we serve!
Pays: $155 - $165/hourly + up to $10K in relocation assistance + great benefits!
Chief Dental Officer Duties:
- The Chief Dental Officer (CDO) examines patients, diagnoses oral conditions, directs and carries out treatments, and educates patients and other providers on standards of care and best oral health practices.
- Maintains accurate dental records and designs and implements appropriate policies and procedures for the Dental Program.
- Represents the corporation and serves on committees, the Chief Dental Officer prepares reports, and assists in continuing education for staff and community health education
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to achieve maximal productivity and programmatic effectiveness while exercising appropriate supervisory control.
Chief Dental Officer Qualifications:
- DDS, DMD or equivalent licensure from an accredited dental school
- Unrestricted License to perform dentistry in the state of Texas
- 5 years of clinical/administrative experience preferred
- Current BLS, or CPR Certification
- Nitrous Oxide Certification
- Texas DPS and DEA registration and ability to prescribe scheduled substances
