TTM Healthcare in partnership with our HSE client in Dublin 11 have a vacancy for a Learning & Development Business Partner (Clerical Officer Grade V) position for a
permanent contract with immediate availability.
Fulltime 35 hours per week.

- A relevant third level qualification in Human Resources Management and/or Learning and Development
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Learning and Development
- Experience designing and producing Learning & Development content within a fast paced, professional services environment.
- Good project management and organisation skills are a key success factor in this role.
- Previous experience in designing and delivering training and development programmes is essential.
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience of drafting communications and presenting to stakeholder groups in an engaging manner is essential;
- Strong design and development skills and experience designing content and managing an Learning Management system is preferred.
- A good understanding of talent management methodology and of training evaluation models both in theory and in practice.
- Fluency in the use of Microsoft Office tools, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, eLearning & digital design.
- Be of good character.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Learning & Development (L & D) strategy
- Design and deliver high quality L & D content & programmes via virtual classroom and/or in-person
- Work with the Managers to conduct training needs analysis to identify capability gaps and L&D interventions needed
- Ensure mandatory training is compliant with external stakeholder requirements
- Manage and continuously develop the new hire orientation and on-boarding training
- Create individual development plans and career path strategies for staff and staff groups.
- Assist in analysing technical and professional skills gaps and in creating learning interventions / learning paths to close these gaps
- Evaluate development programmes and report on training activity
- Identify relevant 3rd party providers, build and manage relationships with them including negotiation of terms
- Attendance at the training committee meeting
- Lead on the development/implementation of the LMS to optimise and enhance the available content
- Design and establish benchmarks that measure the impact and effectiveness of programmes on hospital performance and propose follow-up actions
- Be willing to become a manual handling instructor and facilitate appropriate training
- Provide mentoring and coaching to employees and managers as required
- Provide ad hoc support to HR as required
