New Pond Village, a Benchmark Assisted Living Community is looking for a part time or per diem licensed CNA/HHA to join our team! **
**Every other Weekend Required**
We are seeking for a caring and compassionate CNA or HHA! As a Resident Care Associate, your primary focus will be to provide nursing care to our residents in a home like setting. If you have a strong passion for helping others and take pride in what you do and are looking for a great company who shares your vision, than this is the ideal opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:

• Assisting with activities of daily living including their meals, transferring them using appropriate assistive devices, bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming
• Implementing residents personal care service plans, focusing on preferences and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship and belonging.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents have an exceptional stay
• Documenting observations of resident’s behavior, including complaints or physical symptoms
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Valid CNA-HHA license or certificate required
• Prior experience in an assisted living community. Memory care is preferred
• Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits)
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
• Willing to learn!
