CNA / Nurse Assistant - Behavioral Health

Local Rate: $33.00/hour

13 - Week Contract

6/05/2023 - Anticipated Start Date

Mid 5x8-Hour (14:30 - 23:00)

Holiday time paid at regular time - facility does not offer or extend a holiday rate.

• Experience: 2 years of behavioral health experience working with psych patients, dementia, or Alzheimer patients.

Ideally, a hospital setting but will consider SNF/LTC as long as they have experience .Be comfortable with using Seclusion and restraint as a last resortWeekend Coverage: Will be determined during orientation and nurse availability. Overtime is available contingent on the census. Orientation: 2 week
Floating: Staff may be asked to float to the units below
Forensic Services Unit (FSU) - FSU is a 95-bed inpatient unit for patients who enter the forensic (legal) unit in the hospital
Geropsychiatric Unit (GPU) - GPU is a 101-bed unit that provides inpatient psychiatric evaluation and treatment
Adult Psychiatric Unit (APU) - APU is a 91-bed unit that provides inpatient hospitalization for adults 18 to 50 years oldSchedule: The schedule makes changes due to need and census. Evenings and nights are the direst to fill. The facility request all travelers to be flexible and will coordinate during orientation.

• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required, Double Boosted - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
