CNC Machinist
Brooklyn Heights, OH
Shift: 8 am-4:30 pm Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
· Extensive knowledge of Mill tooling
· Ability to read and understand blueprints, use machine shop tools and measuring equipment
· Proficiency with surface plate inspection
· Proficiency with various materials including aluminum, steel and stainless steel
· Experience with Mazak Variaxis i-500 mill
· Strong problem-solving skills and good mathematical skills
Responsibilities:
· Full time position for 5 axis mill programmer/set-up/operator
· Experience on set up and operation of 5 axis milling
· Completes required work consistent with customer’s blueprint and specifications
· Inspects work for conformance to specification
· Completes all paperwork accurately and keeps work area clean
· Reports and/or corrects any unsafe conditions immediately and maintains an acceptable safety record
· Maintains a satisfactory attendance and punctuality record
