Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Shop Foreman Summary: The Sheet Metal Shop Foreman will oversee the daily operations of our sheet metal fabrication shop, ensuring that all orders are completed to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget. The successful candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.

Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Shop Foreman Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the sheet metal fabrication shop, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget
• Work closely with the Project Managers to understand project requirements and ensure that all materials and equipment are available and ready for fabrication
• Manage a team of sheet metal fabricators, providing guidance and support as needed
• Ensure that all team members are working safely and following proper safety procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
• Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring that all work is completed to the required specifications
• Collaborate with other members of the Tecta America team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Shop Foreman Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in sheet metal fabrication preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including brake presses, shears
• Valid Driver s License is Required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes and interruptions
