We are now recruiting Support Workers for Full and Part Time Work within ID Community Residential in Borrisokane, Co. Tipperary

Duties (to include but not limited to):

• Maintain resident’s confidentiality at all times.
• Assist in activities of daily living,
• Promote independence.
• Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care.
• Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
• Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication.
• Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Have the ability to take direction and learn from others.
• Assess the needs of the resident and respond accordingly.
• Excellent communication and recording skills.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Be capable of working independently and using initiative while being part of a specialized team.

Required Education Skills and Qualifications:

• Full QQI Level 5 Healthcare Award
• Flexible and adaptable nature
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• 60 hours work experience completed
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Full driving license - Preferred
• Permission to work in Ireland
