Compute One is a Local IT solutions provider. We have been in business since 2008 and have a wide variety of business and residential customers. We offer in-shop service where you drop off your computer for service. We offer onsite or in-home service for business and residential as well as monthly service agreements for our business customers.

We are looking for a technician with ability to assist our customers with their devices in-shop, remotely and onsite as needed. We are looking for someone long term, as we develop a relationship with our clients.

Applicants must possess a strong technical knowledge and have the ability to diagnose, repair or upgrade PC's and related devices such as hardware and/or software. Applicants must also be able to work independently and have good customer service skills. Candidate must have reliable transportation and (if necessary) be willing to travel to client locations. The ideal candidate must be able to work diligently, accurately and possess the ability to problem solve in order to fix issues and ensure functionality.

Position requires experience with:

• Windows 10 & 11
• Microsoft Office
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to tear down and rebuild laptops and desktops
• Ability to diagnose computer or hardware issues
• Multitasking
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
• Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components

Not required but helpful:

• Mac/Apple Experience
• Cell Phone & Tablet Repair
• Windows Server Operating Systems
• IT Helpdesk Experience
• Soldering Game
• Console Repairs
• POS Systems
• VOIP Technology
• Networking technologies
• Linux Desktop and/or Server Environments
• Web Design and/or other programming languages
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+) will be an advantage
