We are looking for a highly collaborative individual with strong project/program management experience to help us continue building a scalable, sustainable learning function within the organization.


This Role


This role, reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, is a keystone role that will work closely and collaboratively with organizational leaders, subject matter experts, and operational excellence team members. The role will be responsible for helping ensure that our programs and projects are running smoothly and achieving their stated objectives.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities

Program Management
  • Works with department leadership to create and manage learning programs
  • Manages all learning program logistics including but not limited to:
    • Creating program schedules
    • Organizing program presenters
    • Overseeing and updating program content
    • Managing program registrations
    • Facilitating live programs
    • Providing feedback to presenters
    • Creating and managing program surveys
  • Manages external vendors for third-party services, including tracking of invoices and payments, monitoring usage data, and creating usage reports
  • Oversees tracking and recording of completed trainings and corresponding reports
  • Monitors learning plan data and tracks for annual KPI completion
  • Provides basic learning platform administration and support for employees
  • Creates learning data reports for internal customers
  • Manages the new hire learning experience for operations employees
  • Facilitates Construction Learning Orientations and check ins
  • Manages the L&D Mailbox
  • Requires some local travel to job sites to support department’s training efforts
  • Develops & delivers communication of available programs
Project Management
  • Collaboratively provides project management of the department’s annual goals as well as the department’s portfolio of projects, programs, and strategic change initiatives with internal teams and/or 3rd party vendors
    • Defines and documents project scope
    • Assists in creation of business requirements, including analyzing, defining, and documenting current and future state processes
    • Creates and manages project team against project scope and schedule
    • Coordinates and facilitate working sessions and status meetings
    • Negotiates and facilitates business stakeholder discussions and decisions
    • Creates and maintains status reports
    • Identifies and monitors project risks and develops mitigating actions where necessary
    • Ensures quality of project deliverables and results
    • Conducts project close out / lessons learned sessions
  • Develops and maintains an in-depth understanding of the Construction Learning team’s operations and workflows, and as appropriate, works collaboratively to continuously improve
  • Builds and maintains the development of the schedule for all department trainings across each regional office
  • Develops & Maintains Monthly reporting metrics
  • Contributes to the design of curriculum and supporting materials through collaboration with Director of Learning and Development
  • Drive continuous process improvement for the Construction Learning Team
    • Work with Construction Learning team to define & document (at a high level) major processes and workflows, including suppliers, inputs, process, outputs, and customers.
    • Identify potential process improvements, help implement them, monitor effectiveness.
    • Establish metrics for customer management and process improvement to include project intake, proposal, creation, review cycles and sign-offs.
    • Contribute to a systematic process measurement/improvement strategy that collects process data, identifies improvement opportunities, and creates reporting (dashboard) on department effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Experience and Education


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/education
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or Project Management Certification
  • Strong Business Analysis and Data Analysis skills

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
