Calling all foodies and those who love to cook. Now’s your chance to jump in, under new ownership Liberty Park Amusement is a business that’s existed for over 100 years in Salt Lake City. Currently hiring motivated and energetic part-time, full-time and seasonal culinary focused team members for our concessions stands, grill and coffee shop.

Must have a friendly, positive attitude and be able to learn quickly

Experience preferred

Cook Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
• Grill and smoke meats, vegetables and other foods
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
• Occasionally serve food
• Handle and store ingredients and food
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
• Execute opening and closing procedures
• Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
• Monitor station inventory levels
• Accommodate guests’ special requests
• Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers

Qualifications:

• Comfortable standing for extended periods of time, able to lift up to 50 lbs and continuously bend, reach and twist
• Ability to multitask
• Current Food Handler Certificate

About Us:

Under new ownership, we are excited to infuse new energy at historic Liberty Park, a beloved place where generations of guests have visited for over 100 years. We plan to open more year-round amusement than ever before. In addition to the traditional tasty concessions offered, we plan to operate a year-round coffee shop, and create a new smoked meat/BBQ station at the park.
