Obsidian is a new Paul Mitchell Focus Salon located in Coeur D Alene, ID. Our goal is to create a team of beauty industry professionals that desire a career, not a job.

We are seeking a professional that is creative and a team-focused cosmetologist or barber to join our salon. This professional will assist clients with a variety of hair-related services, and be able to provide advice related to cosmetology or barbering. Our salon offers an environment where you will be provided autonomy to offer clients tailored services.

The successful professional must have strong customer service skills, a willingness to learn and develop professionally, and the desire to work in a creative environment. We strongly encourage and support our professionals to continue learning and further developing their craft. Our salon is an environment where all people are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Be personable and focused with clients
• Have an appreciation for art
• Speak with clients or prospective clients over the phone
• Schedule appointments
• Provide thorough consultations with clients
• Effective communicator about processes and expectations with clients
• Personal responsibility for your career (Being on Time)
• Reccomending products for clients specific needs
• Keeping a clean work area/salon
• Assisting other team member as needed

• Commission based pay
• Commission from product sales
• All tips are yours

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
