We are looking for an experienced onsite credentialing specialist for our Wheaton Location.
You will be expected to:
- Review individual provider and/or facility location files for appropriate documentation required
for the credentialing process. - Coordinates re-credentialing applications and conduct document research.
- Submits applications to credentialing manager for review.
- Communicates with providers and field associates regarding credentialing status and
information. - Review applications for completeness and confidential information collection, verification and
documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures for continuous
credentialing and re-credentialing of providers and/or locations. - Collaborates with credentialing management the streamlining and updating of credentialing
processes. - Initiates and follows through on all aspects of the credentialing process, including initial and
follow up credentialing, for all of the insurances company is contracted with.
