What You'll Do:

Our Credit Team works closely with our sales team to provide excellent service to our customers. We develop relationships that facilitate timely payments and encourage reordering. Communications are professional, detailed, and timely, allowing for quick resolution to issues – our goal is to make it easy for our customers to do business with us. The Credit Supervisor is responsible for supporting, coaching, and mentoring staff to meet the credit needs of the company and its customers. The Supervisor will frequently interface with customers to ensure that clear expectations are set, enforced and managed.

Challenge Yourself – The Specifics:

• Provide supervision of staff to include: payroll functions, PTO requests and performance appraisals, disciplinary processes with the aid of the Director, Credit, and the CFO
• Management of an assigned territory of B2B customers including credit investigations, assigning terms and limits, customer database management, payment posting and collections
• Granting selling terms and lines of credit, auditing deliverables, advising, and guiding staff regarding potential resolution of credit and collection issues
• Month-end closings and various audit related tasks
• Supporting FUCA Culture (Focus, Urgency, Collaboration and Accountability) with colleagues at all times
• Monitoring various workflow processes to ensure customers, orders, collections and cash posting duties are being performed as required
• Aid in the launch of new computer systems and software as needed
• Provide back up support for Director, Credit as needed or requested
• Performs other duties as assigned

You Have a Unique Combination of Skills, Talents and Mindset, Including Many of the Following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of related full-time work experience in Accounts Receivable, B2B Credit and/or Commercial Collections
• 3+ years of prior supervisory experience
• High level of understanding of selling terms, cash discounting, rebates, payment posting and credit memos
• Foster excellent communication skills in a professional fashion with sales, senior leadership, and customers
• Ability to use various spreadsheet programming at a high level, pulling together data and key performance indicators
• Comfort with B2B collections via phone and email
• Commercial credit investigations including Dun & Bradstreet reports, bank references and trade reports
• Use English effectively to communicate in person, over the phone, and in writing/chat
