Summary of Job Description:

Incumbent is responsible for assisting with researching Native American/Indigenous- focused content for The Mohegan Tribe’s curriculum and educational content. Incumbent also assists in gathering tools and resources for the Educators Project and other curriculum projects under the guidance of the Director of Curriculum & Instruction.

Minimum Requirements:

• Knowledge of academic research methods and ability to vet sources for authenticity
• Demonstrated knowledge of Mohegan history
• Strong demonstrated interpersonal skills required
• Skills in typing with a focus on grammar and punctuation
• Ability to grow from feedback and set goals for future growth
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks both independently and jointly with others
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with technology-based content to improve educational needs and trends
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Organizational or Google Suite experience
• Must be a member of the Mohegan Tribe
• Successful candidate must pass the background check in accordance with the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act (ICPA)
• Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule
