We Care About Your Engagement
In this exciting and strategic role will be responsible for overseeing a team carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance activities within our state of the art new data centre development in Dublin D15.
You will ensure the organization is prepared for the future by making certain that we maintain uptime availability and reliability levels within the data centre that exceeds our customers expectations.
Main responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability
- Monitoring and troubleshooting all site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc)
- Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS
- Managing a team and any sub-contracted resources, as necessary, to deliver a safe and quality service to the Business
- Management and coordination of all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) scheduled activity
- Management, delivery and oversight of the site Permit to Work (PtW) system
- Ensuring a positive Health and Safety (H&S) culture is promoted and maintained across the site

Your expertise includes:
- Experience of maintaining Pumps, HVAC Systems, Compressors, Boilers, steam systems and ancillary services, (DHW skids), Chillers, Cooling Towers, Clean steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, CIP systems, Low/Medium voltage Electrical Systems, UPS, Generators and other associated systems
- Significant knowledge of and experience of working to international HSE standards
- Experience in troubleshooting/repair of low & medium voltage electrical systems
- Experience in troubleshooting/repair of mechanical/HVAC systems
- Knowledge and ability to apply safe electrical practices according to guidelines/regulations set by relevant national electrical safety supervisory bodies
Your skills and attitude:
- HND in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent desirable
- Professional electrical or mechanical certification (National Craft Certificate (NCC), Registered Electrical/Mechanical Contractor (REC), or national equivalent)
- Good post qualification experience including a supervisory role.
- Experience of operating in a customer facing role and dealing with technical problems in challenging situations
- Experience of electrical power monitoring systems in data centres or similar environments.
