A fintech are looking for a data protection officer to join their Dublin team. The company operates on a remote first policy but do have offices available.

Main responsibilities of the data protection officer:

  • Act as primary point of contact with the DPC
  • Implement privacy governance framework
  • Review privacy governance framework
  • Enhance and implement data protection policies and procedures
  • Lead out GDPR and data protection training to the business
  • Report to senior stakeholders and advise the business on data protection related matters

As an ideal candidate for this role you will hold a data protection qualification. You will have previous experience in a DPO role and be comfortable dealing with senior members of the business. You will be able to handle information with discretion and be able to use independent judgement.
