Delivery Driver/Installer
$1500 signing bonus 50% paid after 90 days and the remainder after 180 days
Set-Up and Delivery (Non-CDL)
If you are dependable, hard-working, and looking to join a team providing excellent customer service to our clients, we want to talk with you. We at Visual Edge I.T. are looking for a qualified candidate at our Harlan Iowa location to deliver, set-up and install equipment (copier/printer/fax).
Basic networking abilities, a valid driver’s license with clear DMV record, and a stable work history with verifiable references are required. Lifting, pushing, and pulling are necessary.
Responsibilities will include:
- Deliver and install copiers and accessories to customer locations.
- Perform assembly of equipment per direction from the set-up paperwork at the direction of the setup manager
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during assembly to ensure equipment is fully assembled and working properly
- Properly load all equipment securely using the provided straps, and all other necessary tools to ensure safe and secure transport of equipment
- Perform clearing of all hard drives from returned equipment
- Perform administrative tasks related to hard drive clearing activities
- Work with the Connected Products Specialist with basic network connection of equipment
- Properly organize and record delivery documentation
- Confirm delivery, pick up and/or movement with customer and delivery coordinator
- Inspect and maintain the delivery truck and supplies such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure the vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Work together with the delivery coordinator, the sales team, and Connected Products Specialist to ensure accurate and timely delivery of office equipment
- Help maintain the warehouse, keep shop clean and organized
- Maintain office entryways and walkways, sweeping and keeping clear of debris. Remove snow and lay down ice melt during the winter as needed.
- Roughly 10 hours of overtime per period as well as some company paid overnight stays in the mason city area when we multiple deliveries in that area. Up to 2 times monthly
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
