The Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in delivering our mission and achieving our goals. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the delivery function which includes safely operating a motor vehicle, delivering merchandise and customer service. You will be expected to deliver to customers and ensuring that deliveries are timely and correct via established routes. You will complete appropriate paperwork for delivered merchandise per company procedure and/or customer/vendor instruction. You will maintain an orderly vehicle and will be expected to follow company policy regarding vehicle maintenance, services, and driver policies.
Typical duties for the Delivery Driver include but are not limited to:
§ Load and unload merchandise
§ Ensure orderly vehicle.
§ Complete appropriate paperwork for delivered merchandise.
§ Follow company policies regarding vehicle maintenance, services and driver policies.
§ Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50lbs. without machinery assistance.
Educational Requirements and/or Experience Required
At least a high school diploma. 6 months of driving experience preferred. Satisfactory driving record is necessary.
