The DOD Pharmacy Coordinator Advisor is part of the Clinical and Pharmacy Coordination team that supports Express Scripts’ Pharmacy Benefit Program for the U.S. Department of Defense’s TRICARE Program--encompassing 9.6M active duty military, retirees and their families. This role will support the management of the mail order pharmacy program. This role will serve as the central liaison for DoD teams and cross-functional collaboration to support efficiency and client satisfaction with the mail order pharmacies. This position will recognize inefficiencies within processes, offer creative solutions, act as a subject matter expert, and assist with special projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Accountable for core service delivery for clients working cross-functionally with operations.

Ensuring clients and patients receive superior service

Respond to incoming inquiries from the client and other key stakeholders, drive issues to resolution. Use judgement and proper channels on when to escalate, leveraging colleagues and leadership as needed

Coordinate relationships with multiple cross-functional partners to include supply chain and pharmacy teams

Review weekly monthly data and reports to identify trends and ensure contract compliance by all teams involved in replenishment process.

Self-sufficient organizational navigator who can collaborate with all levels and can tailor the message with the right level of detail as appropriate

Perform other duties as directed to support program

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 90,000 - 150,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
