Purpose of Role:
The Design Engineer for Construction Attachments develops and maintains products, processes, and works directly with customers to solve field problems. This is a fast-paced position requiring technical contribution, working with minimum supervision, continually improving standard work and the engineering processes; solid mechanical engineering skills and an understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and computer aided engineering. Provides engineering and specifications to develop and release fabricated products that meet customer requirements that are manufactured in various ESCO facilities as well as being sourced from suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate with internal and external customers at all levels to develop fabricated products that meet customer and manufacturing requirements

Use sound engineering principles and practices in defining, solving, and documenting problem solutions

Manage and maintain system database parameters for mass production fabricated products and daily customer orders

Identify and implement opportunities for continuous process improvement

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferred Two+ years’ related engineering experience

CAD modeling skills; ideally with Siemens NX

Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Willing and able to travel up to 15% (domestic and international)
