Overview
A hospital in Brooklyn is looking for a licensed dietitian to join their staff
Responsibilities
- Monitors and manages the comprehensive nutritional services.
- Documents all aspects of care to nutritional services of patients.
- Assists in the design & data collection of Continuous Quality Improvement projects.
- Creates educational material related to patient education, geared to both professional staff and patient education.
- Conducts weekly meal rounds to determine the adequacy and acceptability of meals, as assigned.
- Provides nutritional counseling to patients.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; Master's Degree preferred.
- Licensed as a Dietitian in the state of New York
- Previous clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
