Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Customer Service experience
• Education experience
• Management experience preferred
• State teaching credentials preferred (current or expired)
• Knowledge of current educational policy
• Familiarity with instructional technology and tablet computers
• Experience using Microsoft Word and other standard business applications used by the Center

Responsibilities:
As a successful Director, your primary responsibility will be to communicate with current and prospective Sylvan families, champion the Sylvan developed curriculum, manage and ensure the quality of the education standards and teaching staff as well as grow the business in your center. As a successful Director, you will:

• Provide exceptional communication and customer service
• Create and maintain a positive, growth minded atmosphere
• Communicate with prospective Sylvan families about how Sylvan can help their student(s)
• Keep Sylvan parents informed on student progress
• Ensure educational integrity
• Administer Sylvan Skills Assessments; analyze and interpret results to recommend goal-based programs for Sylvan students
• Monitor student programs for performance and progress; modify student programs as needed for success
• Help grow the center
• Assist with the training and motivation of center staff
• Contribute to center profitability by controlling labor budget through managing instructor staffing levels and schedules
• Provide oversight to staff related to all educational policies and procedures
• Partner with the Center Director to run operations
• Establish relationships and communications with students' teachers for insights on school progress
• Create a positive learning environment by modeling motivational behavior in the center for staff, students and parents, during all phases of the instructional program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
