POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the wider social service team, support and guidance to program development and implementation, provide direct oversight over the clinical management team, cultivate and manage clinical partnerships including those with local educational institutions and interns. This position also collaborates with the Director or Restorative Services and Director of Culinary to provide a seamless, radically hospitable, guest centric experience to those accessing services at Broad Street Ministry. This position oversees the De-escalation Manager, Medical/General Concierge Manager and all Clinically relevant partnerships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the concierge team in understanding their responsibilities to the guests, staff and wider organization
- Lead the program development and evaluation of all clinical programming and partnerships
- Understand functions of roles across the social service programs to better support the function of concierge teams, de-escalation and partnerships
- Design and implement related trainings, or source training opportunities for clinical team and wider direct service team
- Support clinical management team in their professional development goals and create relevant goals and action steps related to their responsibilities and areas for growth, while setting expectations of similar development and goal planning for clinical floor team
- Step-in to support with clinical interventions for guests in crisis as needed
- Provide regular and consistent clinical support and supervision to medical/general concierge manager and de-escalation manager
- Provide clinical supervision to concierge team and clinical interns as required by coverage needs or educational supervision standards
- Provide crisis management support to floor team and partners as needed to ensure the safety and experience of hospitality of all guests, staff, volunteers and patrons
- Model social work ethics in practice and program design for concierge, de-escalation and the wider social service program
- Manage clinical or resource related partnerships held both onsite and off-site that include onsite current legal, health and therapeutic arts partners, including MOU development and partnership evaluation
- Create new opportunities and or partnerships with existing social service programs that benefit the work of our guests and concierge team
- Develop and maintain the agency’s connection to related educational institutions and foster educational experiences that develop future social worker/social service providers, in internship capacities
- Provide clear expectation of program and partnership outcomes, structure for assessing key performance indicators and progress toward deliverables associated with grants and contracts for appropriate managers and their direct reports
- Work with Data and Development team to make sure current data management systems capture needed efforts and KPI’s, or support in creating subsequent systems that will generate reports needed to log deliverables to partners and funders
- Conduct or oversee the interview process to vet and accept prospective interns for the following year
- Work with other director level positions to support the function and flow of clinical programming and day programing as a whole
- Provide key feedback/insight to direct supervisor to advocate for, support and advance the mission of the agency, its staff and its constituents
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Master’s in Social Work strongly preferred, or 3 plus years managing and evaluating direct service programs
- Up-to-date or pending LSW, LCSW or other equivalent, preferred
- 5 plus years working in a social service setting geared toward supporting people who experience the effects of deep poverty, housing insecurity, experiencing food insecurity, symptoms of mental health and trauma and or substance use and abuse
- minimum 3 years supervising direct service workers in social service, shelter, drop-in setting
- Strong understanding of effects of trauma on adults and ability to apply knowledge to developing programming and service implementation models

This position is located at Broad Street Ministry, 315 S. Broad Street. At the discretion of management, this role may be performed part-time, full time, or temporarily in a remote location within the greater Philadelphia region. All remote (and partially remote) employees (permanent or temporary) will occasionally be required to perform work on-site, and all or most orientations will occur on-site.
Salary Range: 60,000-65,000 The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package that includes: medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays and PTO.
