Black River Memorial Hospital is in search of an ambitious and visionary leader to serve as the Director of our Medical/Surgical Department. The Medical/Surgical Director oversees and leads all aspects of the department. In addition, the Director uses constructive leadership skills to assist the department in fulfilling the hospital’s mission and meet established annual and long-term goals. The normal hours of work are days, Monday through Friday. This is an exempt, full-time position with a generous benefits package.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Advanced degree (MSN/MBA/MHA) preferred and must be obtained within 3 years of hire date
• Five years of clinical experience with at least 3 years of progressive leadership experience
• Current Wisconsin RN license
• BLS required
• ACLS required within 1-year of employment
