Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree; MBA is preferred.
- Must gave a minimum of 8 years relative healthcare industry experience
- Must have knowledge of Nursing Homes, Home Health Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and Social Day Care Operations.
- Must have familiarity with systems to assist consumers with long-term care needs to obtain social services and entitlement benefits.
- Must have experience in contributing to product designs and contracting arrangements related to MLTC and MAP provider credentialing/contracting.
- Must have the ability to design training curriculum related to prospecting, sales and lead generation, product features and benefits, and competitive analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of dedicated MLTC and MAP Enrollment Sales Representatives to educate and enroll applicants, prospective members, caregivers, and business partners regarding the Health Plan features and benefits of the MLTC, MAP, and Medicare LOBs.
- Serve as liaison to provide consistent dashboard metrics to business partners such as CHAs, LCHHAs, SNFs, and Social Day Care Centers, etc., regarding MLTC/MAP.
- Provide support to acute and sub-acute care facilities, social workers, discharge planners, intake coordinators, and registration staff regarding coordination and transition of care.
- Assess enrollee’s eligibility for program services based on health, medical, financial, legal, and psychosocial status.
- Strategize goals and action plans designed to meet member/enrollee needs as identified in the assessment process that is action-oriented, time-specific, and cost-effective.
- Assess and construct the development of MLTC Enrollment Sales Representatives regarding ongoing nursing care, service authorization, and periodic assessment.
- Collaborate and negotiate with interdisciplinary teams, health care providers, family members, and third-party payors, as applicable, across all health settings to ensure optimum delivery and coordination of services to members.
- Identify trends and needs of groups in the community and plans interventions based on these identified needs.
Communication
- Learn business partner and client expectations for a project and exceed expectations.
- Provide assistance and troubleshoot any gaps regarding the coordination of care management functions across acute, home health, and long-term care settings contracted with the Health Plan to improve operational efficiency
- Lead and participates in interdepartmental workgroups and committees inclusive of MLTC operations, Medicare operations, Quality Management, Customer Service, and Member & Board Experience.
- Communicate with business partners and gather information about a project’s scope, budget, and timeline.
- Communicate deadlines requirements and other goals to business partners and stakeholders.
- Conduct and coordinate presentations, workshops, and panel discussions with providers, care coordinators, and front-line staff regarding the features and benefits of the company’s Managed Long-Term Care Plan and Medicaid Advantage Plus Program.
Project Management
- Oversee a team to ensure our products or services are delivered on time, on budget, and up to the business partners’ standards.
- Responsible for enhancing a business partner’s performance by building strategies to implement projects.
- Analyze business partner data and other market behavior to understand any changing needs.
- Develop budgets and timelines for business partners and the company they work for and coordinate teams to meet project milestones.
- Develop Marketing plans and outreach strategies to lead the Enrollment Growth and Retention of the company’s MLTC/MAP LOBs.
- Document services in accordance with the company standards and Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) and Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) regulations.
- Participate in special projects and performs other duties as requested.
Business Development
- Develop new business initiatives with research, industry tracking, pipeline development, outreach strategy, and management.
- Counsel clients. effectively drive results. and prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflows, and client goals.
- Independently build, manage, and execute complete business strategies and client roadmaps and proactively manage client needs.
- Participate in the development of programs to meet the specialized needs of this selected patient population.
- Delegate and participate in outreach activities to promote knowledge of our programs and its services with outside community agencies and health care providers.
- Negotiate comprehensive healthcare plans with members, families, and physicians.
- Evaluate the performance of contracted Business Partners such as Certified Home Health Care Agencies, Licensed Home Care Services Agencies, Nursing Homes, and Social Day Care Centers related to referrals and lead generation to increase membership for the MLTC/MAP/Medicare Advantage lines of business.
- Collaborate with the Plan’s Provider Network Operations Departments to identify business opportunities through recruitment and contracting of new providers to enhance our Network and attract/retain new and existing members and applicants.
- Other duties as assigned by Chief Growth Officer.
