Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has seven stores in Norwalk, Danbury, and Newington, CT, Farmingdale, East Meadow & Yonkers, NY and Paramus NJ. Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Dishwasher
Part-Time Hourly – starting rate $15/hour
Weekly Pay

Position Description:
Dishwashers ensure all cooking and production tools, equipment, and utensils are clean, sanitized and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spray down all trays, pots, pans, spatulas, spoons, knives and cutting boards
• Wash all items using specified cleaners and using established procedures
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Assist in other duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience (include knowledge, skills and abilities):

• Entry level position; no prior experience required

Working Conditions:

• Position requires prolonged periods of standing and lifting of up to 20 lbs. and use of hose and water leading to wet/slippery conditions
