REPORTS TO: Transportation Manager

JOB OVERVIEW: This job primarily involves the delivery and unloading of product throughout the employer service area.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND TRAINING:

• Class A driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.
• Ability to identify potential maintenance problems that could be taken care of timely. (Preventative maintenance)

Essential Functions:

• Deliver product to customers, unload and checking in orders, collect monies and completion of proper paperwork
• Use device to document delivery.
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery operations.
• Maintain required certifications/licenses as required by employee
• Maintain logs of working hours, following applicable state and federal regulations.

Equipment Used to Perform Job:

• 2 wheeled hand truck, aluminum load locks, snow chains.
• All lift Gates, no Ramp’s
• Electric Pallet jacks
• ELD/ delivery device.

Critical Physical Demands:

• Lifting: Crates, cases, boxes and totes, weighing up to 35 lbs are lifted occasionally, and weighing up to 50 lbs
• Use of snow chains
• Use of Hand truck to move freight
