MUST LOVE TRAVEL - ROAD WARRIOR - EXTENSIVE TRAVEL

• You must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.
• You will learn and follow the Matco Tools route surveying process. You will survey new territories in high-growth, expansion areas to pave the way for future Matco franchise owners. You will also introduce new franchisees to their territories and set up the products in their new mobile stores.
• You must be able to communicate well and encourage shop owners, service managers, etc. to allow Matco to service their location.
• Your typical week will entail 5 field days, leaving on Monday and returning on Friday which involves surveying open, existing, and new routes. You will be home on weekends frequently.

SCHEDULE:

• Your typical week will entail (5) five field-days leaving on Monday and returning on Friday to survey (drive) new and existing Matco routes. You will be home on weekends.
• When you leave on a Monday, likely you will drive up to 5 hours one-way to get to the city you will survey, and staying overnight all week. You leave the hotel, finish any survey that is not complete, and then drive home for the weekend.
• Each day you will drive from autoshops to related companies, meeting with owners or managers to ask pre-planned questions on your survey list.
• End result of each visit is to get a signed contract to allow a brand new Franchisee to sell tools to the employees at their shop.

This is a fully expensed position! It includes a company vehicle and gas card. In addition, a credit card to expense meals, and hotel stays through Concur.

WHAT YOU WILL ALSO DO

• Conduct route introduction and merchandising of the mobile (truck) store with new franchisees.
• Understand the competition and the value selling points of differentiation of a Matco franchise.
• Manage travel expenses including, hotel stays, meals, etc. using concur.
• Manage your weekly schedule of 5 field days.

WHO YOU ARE

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Experience working/communicating directly with customers
• Time management/recording overnight travel expenses
• Acceptable driving record per company policy
• Computer skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel 100% of the time in the field, including overnight travel
• Driven individual/ability to work on their own schedule & meet deadlines
• Ability to multitask
