DSP (Direct Support Professional) / Caregiver

$18.00 - $22.00/hr + HIRING BONUS, PTO and Health Benefits

We have two homes (Lemon Grove and El Cajon) under new leadership and will be opening another home in the next 6 months. We are looking for qualified and motivated Direct Support Professionals to work with developmentally disabled adults with behaviors. If you don't have a lot of experience working with amazing residents like ours, we'd still love to hear from you. Our experienced team will train you. The goals in our homes are directed towards assisting the residents to gain independence and access to the community, live a healthy lifestyle, manage behaviors and age-related health concerns, and continue to grow in their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care for the population we serve by employing and training a caring, professional staff who apply a structured support plan focused on wellness. We are currently hiring for these shifts below:

Fri/Sat 10pm - 6am (Lemon Grove Location) (16 hours)

Fri/Sat 12pm - 8pm (El Cajon location) and Sun/Mon 12pm-8pm (Lemon Grove Location) (32 hrs)

++ On-Call positions available

Position Requirements:

• Current CA Driver's License
• First Aid/CPR certification prior to starting
• Livescan Background Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Supporting developmentally disabled adults with behavioral concerns
• Daily computer documentation and communication
• Driving 6-10 passenger vehicle
• Cooking, following menu, nutrition support
• Medication assistance
• Following numerous regulatory requirements and company processes
• A continuous improvement/growth mindset!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
