Dune Jewelry is expanding our tight-knit, fast-paced team and seeking a full time Packaging and Quality Control Specialist! Please note, while boxing orders to be shipped is a part of this position, this is NOT a warehouse packing job. The role will require you to inspect, polish, assemble, and label all jewelry orders to ensure they are delivered to our customers in a timely manner and in the most beautiful packaging. Our Packaging & QC Specialist plays a critical role in our business as they are the final checkpoint for every order that leaves our studio.

Dune Jewelry is a woman owned Small Business just outside of Boston, MA. We create Experiential Jewelry by capturing your most cherished memories in our handcrafted designs. We incorporate sand and natural elements from thousands of memorable and iconic locations around the world that we catalogue in our Sandbank. You can also send your own unique elements for a truly bespoke design. The idea? “Live for the moment, then take it with you.”

Our team members represent a wide range of personalities and backgrounds, all focused on making our customers happy and supporting one another. As a small business we all wear different hats and no one is afraid to step up and help when support is needed. We’re looking for someone who is excited to build on this position and grow with this team, who is a great collaborator but can work independently to get the work done.

Key job functions include but are not limited to:

Assessing jewelry for any flaws

• Light assembly (adding chains to pendants, charms to bangles, etc)
• Reviewing all orders carefully to ensure they were produced correctly
• Adhere to strict shipping timelines
• Adhere to packaging standards and procedures for a variety of wholesale customers, retail customers, and online web partners
• Maintain focus and organization
• Collaborate with team members to continue improving our processes
• Proactive problem solving
• Understanding of brand values in order to exceed our customer’s expectations and maintain high standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Jewelry experience helpful
• Comfortable with repetitive work
• Reliable
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
• Time commitment of at least 6 months, longer preferred!
• Ability to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
