Eastridge Workforce Solutions is partnering with a top-tier law firm. in its search for a E-Billing Specialist

Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days remote

Essential Job Functions

• Processes high volume of electronic bills each month, including complex bills with requirements such as split party billing and multiple discounts by matter for client-level bills.
• Reviews and edits pre-bills according to billing professional instructions and client billing guidelines.
• Communicates effectively with billing professionals, assistants, and clients to solve problems that arise during the billing process to ensure that bills are mailed timely.
• Monitors carry forwards and write-offs and alert the Billing Director of problems.
• Coordinates with Accounts Payable to ensure that all costs are captured timely, particularly in the case of out-of-cycle invoices, such as when a closing occurs.
• Troubleshoots with Collections to resolve billing issues resulting in payment problems.
• Creates billing schedules and bill and payment analyses as required.
• Provides coverage and support to the other members of the e-Billing team where necessary.
• Verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree are highly preferred
• Must have solid basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplication, division and calculating percentages.
• Must have a demonstrated proficiency with Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of billing systems such as Aderant or Elite highly preferred.
• Knowledge of law firm/client electronic submission systems such as Serengeti, Legal Tracker highly preferred.
