Responsibilities:

Work to support the overall Eagle ecosystem, from both a project and daily support perspective.

• Develop and implement solutions in the Eagle Access space, primarily focused on data imports and extracts.
• Assist with preparing estimates for design, coding, and testing

• Design, write, modify, and test solutions to meet the business and functional requirements.
• Adhere to departmental Software Development Life Cycle standards
• Perform incident management and triage
• 2nd and 3rd level on-call support on a rotational basis

Skills:

• Strong experience working on at least one Investment Book of Record (IBOR) platform e.g. Eagle Star, Eagle Pace required
• Minimum of 7 years of team-oriented development experience in a relational database environment required
• Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL or Microsoft T-SQL required
• Experience with Linux shell scripting / PERL scripting preferred
• Experience with programming languages (C, C++, JAVA, .NET) within Financial Services preferred
• Prior experience with job scheduling with BMC Control-M or equivalent (Cron, Tivoli, Autosys) preferred
• Experience with middleware packages including IBM Websphere MQ and Message Broker or equivalent (BizTalk) preferred
• Experience with Agile software development, Scrum, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) for managing code and user stories preferred.
• Experience in the buy-side Investment Management Industry and major data domains including Equity, Fixed-Income, Security Master, Positions & Lots, Trades, Corporate Actions, Prices/FX Rates, Cash, Benchmarks strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Investment Management systems (Eagle, Charles River, etc.) preferred
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work cohesively in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49.33 - $59.41 per hour
