Job Title: 2.0 FTE EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

Job Description: These positions commence at the start of the 2023-2024 school year and will be assigned based on interviews with candidates as well as programming needs. You will be supported by a team that includes speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, other ECSE teachers, early learning coordinator, and case facilitator.

Qualifications:
Experience working with Early Childhood Special Education students and families in a variety of settings; knowledge of both typical and atypical child development; ability to administer and interpret evaluation and assessment procedures; experience with developing and implementing IFSPs and IEPs; knowledge of due process forms and procedures required; ability to work in a team with other staff and parents; must be able to direct the work of paraprofessionals; excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; travel within the community is a part of this position. Preferred, but not required: ability to speak and understand Somali, Spanish, or American Sign Language. All candidates will be considered.

Licensure:
Licensure by the State of Minnesota in Early Childhood Special Education or the ability to be licensed under Minnesota’s Tiered Licensure system.
