Electric, Electronics and Software Integration Engineer

Racine, WI- Direct Hire

Productive Resources (www.productiverseources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our customer's team at their facility in Benson, MN or St. Nazianz, WI. As a member of their team, the EESI (Electric, Electronics and Software Integration) Engineer will plan, conduct, document functional, performance, inter-lock, diagnostic tests and tune the performance of the electro-hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems and software in support of the development of Ag Tractors.

The position will be moved to the Racine, WI location. Interim coverage will need to be provided to the Burr Ridge facility with paid travel until the move is complete. Candidates who live 50 plus miles from the Racine location would be eligible for relocation assistance.

This is a direct hire position for our customer with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within their organization.

Duties:

  • Plan, set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor vehicle systems tests and evaluations in lab and track environments.
  • Determine required test instruments, install instruments, and perform calibrations. Install, set-up, and operate required test automation equipment to operate tests. Establish, follow, and document lab test procedures.
  • Determine if the component(s)/system(s) under evaluation are operating per the intended design criteria.
  • Troubleshoot problems, determine, and implement corrective action.
  • Interface effectively with support groups and customers, such as Vehicle Electronics, Design Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Collect and analyze test data, and use to identify trends, problems.
  • Tune and integrate vehicle sub-systems to meet specific performance targets and optimization on the vehicle
  • Communicate data with others effectively.
  • Write formal, technical test reports. Lead test technicians and/or interns in conducting evaluations.
  • Daily task and priority reviews, proper safe working procedures, instrumentation/automation selection, proper method of test setup and operation, accuracy, and acceptability of gathered test data

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechatronic or Controls Engineering (or related field).
  • 2 plus years relevant software and electronics validation/integration experience in a product development environment
