As an Electrical Commissioning Technician working with the Deci team, you will join our client site, a cutting-edge data center facility in Denmark.

You will be responsible for the decommissioning and commissioning of Electrical distribution systems that feed facilities equipment on both utility and process systems. These systems include, LV & MV distribution systems, Lighting, both normal and emergency, General power, VSD's, Motor Control Centres and UPS systems.

Your Job Responsibilities:

  • Both decommissioning and commissioning of Electrical distribution systems that feed facilities equipment on both utility and process systems. These systems include, LV & MV distribution systems that incorporate switchgear, distribution panels, general panels, emergency generators, VSD's, Motor Control Centres UPS systems and lighting.
  • Working as an electrical technician in support of a wider multidisciplinary team of skilled technicians supporting both decommissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Generation and execution of documentation to support decommissioning activities on live systems in line with site procedures.
  • Generation and execution of Commissioning documentation such as OAT's & FAT's (Operational & Functional acceptance tests).
  • Work with operations and engineering teams to develop testing protocols and start-up procedure.
  • Review of Electrical distribution drawings and determine predecessors to enable power-on.
  • Carry out QA/QC walks of electrical panels and equipment and Identify punch list items and rectify prior to start-up.
  • Witnessing and verification of electrical testing prior to energisation.
  • Commissioning electrical systems such as distribution boards, general power, and lighting panels.
  • Maintain all documentation in an organised and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures.
  • Attend daily meeting and provide status updates.
  • Have excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems.
  • Demonstrate ownership and show initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner in a high paced, schedule driven environment.
  • Undertake electrical maintenance where necessary.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have time served Electrical or have a Degree in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience.
  • Ideally at least 4 years industry experience with a maintenance background.
  • Must have a working knowledge of industrial Electrical Distribution systems and be knowledgeable in the operation of such systems (LV & MV).
  • Must have a working knowledge of VSD's, Motor Control centres and UPS's.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings.
  • An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with multiple tasks.
  • Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
  • Possess excellent Communication / Documentation and Interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and accountability.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €45.00-€60.00 per hour
