Electrical or Controls Engineer

Intellivation is seeking a top-notch individual with electrical or controls engineering and/or programming to join our team. Intellivation is a locally owned and operated company with a fast-growing team that designs and builds innovative machinery used in the manufacturing of high-tech products for industries including flexible electronics, batteries, solar, medical devices, and more. We deliver high quality systems and solutions for our customers with our dedicated and creative team. Our machines are highly complex and are comprised of many mechanical, electrical, fluid, vacuum, and plasma systems. Engineering, machining, welding, assembly, and testing are all performed on site at our Colorado factory. Intellivation operates in a fast paced, growing, small business environment which means you will be involved in all phases of projects from conception to completion.

The ideal individual should have demonstrated strong controls skills or education; experience is preferred but not necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical aptitude and hands on experience, be self-motivated, adaptable and require little supervision.

We are open to experienced and/or entry level candidates and are willing to train on the job. We are looking for the right candidate to join our growing team.

Tasks to be completed include:

- Electrical power distribution system design.
- Development and maintenance of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Development and maintenance of electrical wiring schematics using SolidWorks Electrical software.
- Component selection and electrical panel layout design.
- Support of electrical panel manufacture and field wiring of connected devices.
- Ladder logic PLC programming using RS Logix software in conjunction with Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley hardware.
- HMI programming using Wonderware System Platform software.
- Final testing prior to shipping completed systems.
- Travel to customer sites for equipment installation and service.

Requirements:

- Smart, creative and innovative.
- Can-do, team-based attitude.
- Strong programming skills.
- ABET accredited electrical / controls engineering degree (bachelor or higher).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong background or interest in physics is preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad to customer sites (5% - 10% travel).
- Able to work indefinitely in the United States without need for sponsorship.

Position Details:

-Reporting to the Company President.
-This is a full-time salary position.
- Availability is immediate.

- No relocation assistance is provided.
- Job location is in N. Loveland / S. Fort Collins, CO.
