Job description
The MMCRU-Marcus Elementary is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This position serves special education students at our Marcus building in grades TK-4.
Our Marcus building serves around 189 students in the elementary and 205 students in the high school. We are in our 7th year whole grade share with Remsen Union, each district has their own elementary school, the middle school is located in Remsen, and the high school is located in Marcus.
The Marcus campus is in the process of building a new elementary and remodeling the existing high school. We are a school with a strong teaching staff and supportive community. Our students are all 1:1 with Chromebooks.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Iowa Teaching License or ability to obtain
- K-8 Instructional Strategist endorsement
- K-12 Strategist II endorsement
