Employee Health Services Call Center Registered Nurse
Job description
Share your knowledge and expertise on Covid protocols with fellow CentraCare employees by becoming a member of our Employee Health Services Call Center Team. Full-time, temporary benefit eligible position. 72 hours every two weeks rotating between 6 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m. shifts., rotating weekend shifts from 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and rotating holidays. This position will be primarily work from home after the initial training period.
Job Summary :
- Works in Collaboration with Nurse Practitioner/Employee Health Nurse to triage non-Covid related calls.
- Triage symptoms/conditions that may warrant medical evaluation and follow up testing for COVID.
- Evaluates and initiates investigations for potential COVID exposures.
- Return HCW to work when/as appropriate.
- Communicating with supervisors on HCW status related to work ability.
- Serves as a resource in all employee health inquiries related to COVID.
- Utilize EPIC to order COVID testing per protocol, run reports, and review positive COVID cases
Education:
- Graduate from a nursing program required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at a minimum must be obtained within 3 years of hire.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Teams, and telephone call management.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) current licensure in the State of Minnesota
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
