SUMMARY
The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for handling employees relations matters for St. Luke’s Physician Group (SLPG) including basic and escalated issues.
Job Description
- Executes talent and human resource strategies. Implements programs, processes and tools of the practice areas.
- Provides consulting to leaders on a broad range of human resource issues; including employee relations, performance management and ensuring consistency on goal setting, pay positioning and performance differentiation and distribution.
- Facilitates employee relations activities including partnering with leadership on initiating corrective action and associated follow-up including conducting staff interviews, investigations, discussions with managers, documentation.
- Engages in the interactive processes with employees to determine ADA compliance and reasonable accommodations.
- Drafts appropriate correspondences for employee investigations to ensure appropriate closure.
- Assists in preparing documentation and responses to EEOC claims and other litigation.
- Maintains knowledge of current legal and regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or HR
- 5+ years HR experience, preferably in Employee Relations
