FHP Manufacturing is a joint venture between Bosch & Carrier. We develop, manufacture, Water Source Heat Pumps for Commercial and Residential markets. we will also support the our customers (Bosch & Carrier sales teams) with design and warranty questions and investigations. Our mission is to provide quality and efficient WSHP units in a cost effective manner.
Assemble, modify, set‑up and conduct performance and other tests on air conditioning systems, sub-systems. and component assemblies. Focus is for water‑source heat pumps in particular. Testing to be directed by the Laboratory Supervisor.
Assist with maintenance of the lab tools and equipment. Annual, monthly, and daily preventative maintenance as prompted by PM systems and Lab Supervisor. Assist with improvements in the lab systems and/or tools as required to provide continuous improvement in processes and procedures. This may include procedure writing and editing.
Other Workplace Considerations:
- Able to lift 35lbs and stand for up to 8 hours
- Must be willing to work a first or second shift (rotating schedule) and overtime or extended hours, as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HVAC service technician experience or experience providing general operational knowledge of HVAC equipment through customer support
- 1+ years of experience and knowledge of the thermal cycle through working with systems, either from school or professional work
- 1+ years of experience and knowledge of the impacts of heat exchangers, TXVs, Fan Motors, Compressors, etc., either from school or professional work
- 1+ years of experience with machine operation, blueprint reading, and hand tools use
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- High attention to detail
- Good communications skills
- Knowledge of simple electrical circuits
- Windows PC knowledge
