Mt. Zion is GROWING, and we are seeking dedicated, inspiring and innovative teachers to add to our school family, who can participate in the Teacher Next Door Program. International teachers are highly encouraged to apply and interview to start the J1 visa sponsorship.

The Teacher Next Door Program is designed to offer teachers free room and board per semester while teaching at Mt. Zion. Each teacher will receive a monthly stipend as well as a routine schedule for classes and dorm assignments. The dorm assignments will be shared amongst all the teachers in the program creating a great work life balance.

Openings for the 2023-2024 Academic School Year:

Teachers - Preferably we would like teachers that can teach multiple subjects, although all are encouraged to apply. However, the English teacher must be able to teach all the core English and advance English classes.

Education: All applicants are required to have one of the following:

• Bachelor degree in education or related field
• 120 semester hours of college credit or
• a Bachelor degree equivalent as determined by a MSDE authorized independent agency

COVID-19 considerations:
Mt Zion Preparatory Academy offers a curriculum with virtual learning capabilities. Teachers will be equipped with all necessities to maintain virtual learning.
