Position Summary

OPEX Corporation is looking to hire a full-time Entry Level General Labor employees who are able to work in our 180,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Pennsauken, NJ. The workers must be able to commit to a full-time schedule while working during our first shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, however hours may vary on occasion. The employee will be assisting in all aspects of the Ladder Completion department. If you are a punctual, communicative, diligent, and detail oriented individual that works well with a team then OPEX may be the right place for you to pursue your career.

Responsibilities

• Ladder Assembly: Riveting, moving product, using hand/power tools, crane operating, preparing ladders for shipping.
• Assist department/supervisors in completing daily tasks
• Process, clean and assemble parts per instructions of supervisor
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Adhere to safety responsibilities
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General mechanical knowledge
• Experience with basic hand tools
• Basic math skills
• Strong work ethic with a team player attitude
• Experience working a high volume production setting is a plus

Physical/Work Environments

• Worker will be working in a manufacturing facility
• Worker will be working in a fast-paced environment
• Worker must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Worker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shift
